United Nations Development Programme – UNDP Sri Lanka handed over 17 pieces of critical forensic equipment including an RT-PCR machine and Crime Lite Serology Kit, to the DNA Laboratory.
This equipment strengthens the accuracy and speed of DNA evidence analysis in SGBV cases, helping clear case backlogs and bring survivors closer to justice.
Handed over by UNDP Resident Representative, Azusa Kubota, to Ms. Kamani Perera, Government Analyst, with Hon. Harshana nanayakkara, Minister of Justice & National Integration and H.E. Isabelle Martin, High Commissioner of Canada.
