UNOPS is working closely with the KOICA Sri Lanka Office and the Ministry of Justice to improve the toxicology and narcotics laboratories of the Government Analyst’s Department.
The enhanced laboratories and technology enable detection of emerging trace drugs, cut down sample preparation time, and aim to clear case backlogs, accelerating response times for ongoing cases.
KOICA officials visited the department to discuss the recently updated facilities.
