The experts in the food analytical section mainly analyse various food commodities for quality and safety to ensure these products conform to the food regulation and labelling requirement of Sri Lanka.

The food laboratory has obtained Accreditation ISO/IEC 17025:2005 for the Tea chemical parameters such as,

  • Water Insoluble Ash
  • Acid Insoluble Ash
  • Water Extract
  • Alkalinity of Water soluble Ash
  • Crude Fibre

Issue the reports according to the

  • Relevant Sri Lanka Standards
